The Dallas Police Department Youth Leadership Council is a FREE leadership program designed to train up young leaders, giving them the opportunity to explore and develop their leadership potential. The program offers a monthly leadership lecture series that will have workshops and outings focused on training in leadership skills. It’s geared toward students who want to become involved in aspects of law enforcement and community engagement in the future. We are looking for aspiring students who stand out by showcasing their qualities as a leader and those that are ready to unleash their leadership potential now!
Commitment to this program is six-months. Students must be 9th-12th grades at the time of enrollment. Enrollment is limited please sign up today!

The Office of Community Affairs and Employee Communications (OCA) is comprised of Civilian Community Outreach Representatives and Sworn Police Officers. The OCA’s primary goal is to establish and maintain a positive working relationship between the Dallas Police Department and the residents of Dallas. The OCA has a three fold mission: to educate, to empower, and to engage the citizens of Dallas in an effort to reduce crime within our communities.
