CHIPS is Citizens Helping in Parking Solutions. This program trains civilian volunteers to write tickets for illegal parking in handicapped spaces, mainly at malls and shopping centers.
The Northeast Division of the Dallas Police department is hosting a CHIPS training class.
When: Saturday August 2nd 2014

Time: 9 am – 3 pm

This is a 6 hour class which does NOT break to for lunch. Please bring a sack lunch, and drink, as well as a photo I.D. and Social Security card. All volunteer applications and waivers will be completed as part of the course.
